New Torch Marketing is an outsourced retail growth team: they act as the sales and operations arm for brands that want to be on shelves without building a retail department in-house. They needed a website that explained that offer quickly, and a way to start conversations with the brands most likely to benefit.

The challenge
“Outsourced retail growth” is not a category most brands search for, so the site had to do two jobs at once: explain what New Torch does in a few seconds, and give a curious visitor something more useful to do than fill in a contact form.
The website
We built the site around one story: most brokers sell, New Torch also runs what happens after the sale. A comparison section makes that difference obvious at a glance, and a five-part framework (retail sales, retail operations, retail growth, marketplace management, strategic consulting) shows the full scope without a wall of copy.

The look is deliberately dark and warm, with the brand red used sparingly for actions. Every page has one primary call to action: take the free assessment.
A multi-step assessment, built from scratch
The centerpiece is a free Retail Readiness Assessment. A brand answers 25 questions, one per screen, in about five minutes, and gets a personalized score across seven pillars of retail readiness. It is a real piece of software rather than an embedded form, so we built it as a custom WordPress plugin.
- Short entry. Name, company and email, with consent, so the visitor commits before the questions start.
- One question per screen. A four-point scale, a progress bar, and back and next controls keep it light. Progress is saved, so a visitor can leave and resume.
- Goals. A final step asks what the brand wants to achieve, so the report can speak to it.
- A personalized report. An overall score, a score for each of the seven pillars, strongest areas, and the biggest gaps, each paired with how New Torch can help. It is emailed to the visitor and can be printed or saved as a PDF, with a prompt to book a review call.

Under the hood
Scoring happens on the server, so results cannot be tampered with in the browser. The plugin exposes its own REST API, guards against spam with a honeypot field, captures campaign (UTM) data with each submission, and fires analytics events at each step so New Torch can see where people drop off. The markup is accessible, with proper labels, focus handling and keyboard support, and the whole thing works on a phone.

Search and sharing
Each page ships with its own title, description and social preview, and the assessment has its own search-friendly landing page, so it can be found and shared on its own.
