You built a good website and it still isn't getting found. That's frustrating, but it's usually fixable. Here are the three most common reasons, in the order we check them.
Google can't find or understand your pages
First, confirm your pages are actually in Google. Search for your business name and look for your site. If pages are missing, check that they aren't set to be hidden from search engines and that you've submitted a sitemap in Google Search Console.
Then look at the basics on each page: a clear title, one main heading, and descriptive text that says what the page is about. Search engines read your words, so pages built mostly from images or vague slogans give them little to work with.
Your pages don't match what people search for
Think about the exact phrases a customer would type. A page titled "Our Solutions" won't show up for "kitchen remodeling in Doylestown". Give each service its own page, and use the plain words your customers use.
Answer real questions, too. Pricing, timelines, and how your process works are things people search for, and a short, honest page on each earns attention that a homepage alone won't.
Local signals are missing
For local businesses, your Google Business Profile matters as much as your website. Claim it, keep your hours and services current, and add real photos. Make sure your name, address, and phone number match everywhere they appear online.
Reviews help as well. A steady trickle of genuine customer reviews tells Google, and future customers, that you're active and trusted.
